Who are the BookWorms?
The BookWorms are a group of people who enjoy reading and lively literary discussion. Each month a new title is chosen - sometimes it's a current book and sometimes it's an older selection. Past selections have included Thirteen Moons by Charles Frazier, The Abduction by Mark Gimenez, All the King's Men by Robert Penn Warren, and Agatha Christie's classic, Murder on the Orient Express.

When and Where do the BookWorms Meet?
The group meets on the third Thursday of every month from 12:00 - 1:30 pm. No registration is required to attend - new members are always welcome. Meetings are held in the Library Board Room.

Visit the library event calendar to see the titles of upcoming book selections.

Who Sponsors the BookWorms?
The BookWorms are jointly sponsored by Bedford Public Library and the Friends of the Bedford Public Library. The Friends sell new paperback copies of selected book discussion titles at the discounted price of $10.00.

BookWorms Reviews on Shelfari
The BookWorms post reviews of previously read books on Shelfari, which is an online service that allows users to easily catalog and review their books. Because everyone catalogs together, Shelfari also connects people with the same books, comes up with suggestions for what to read next, and so forth.
Take a look at the books that have been posted on the BookWorms Shelfari site.
